St. Louis 3M and Xpel paint protection film good and bad installation
There are more and more installers of 3M and Xpel paint protection film who are starting installations and some of them are getting certified by 3M, Xpel, Llumar, Avory, Premium Shield and other clear automotive bra manufacturers.
The fact is that those manufacturers are trying to saturate the market with their product. In doing so, they certified almost anyone who wants to be certified with minimal or no training at all. This builds a faulty sense of confidence in the eyes of the consumer. Almost anyone who we talk to believes that any place they will go to that installs the product will give them the same amount of attention and the same quality installation, especially if they are certified. That could not be further from the truth.
As a result, some clients end up with very poor quality, very bad installations. Check out the pictures (before and after), of a car that Clear Auto Bra has recently worked on. The initial installation was done by one of our so called competitors, the after pictures are of the same car after we got done with it. What a difference a poper installation makes.
