It’s that time of year again. Time to begin Spring clean-up of our beloved Porsches and time to take care of those little annoyance projects you’ve been putting off all winter. Mark Parafiniuk of Clear Auto Bra has again graciously offered the use of his shop at Clear Auto Bra, 3220 S. Brentwood Blvd (AKA 180 E. Kirkham if you’re using GPS) in Webster Groves, MO 63119 on Saturday March 23rd for Porsche Tech 2013 sponsored by Clear Auto Bra.
This year we’re going to do things a little different. Rather than doing one big demonstration, we’re going to help you with your smaller projects. Is your check engine light on? We can check your codes and let you know what your car is trying to tell you. Do you have a 986 or 996 and have always wanted your outside temperature display on your gauge cluster to function; we can turn it on for you. We’re even going to show you how to do a switch install so that you can cycle through the other OBC functions that are hidden unless your car was originally equipped with the “Third Stalk”. The Durametric kits we have can do this and more. We have a few projects that have already been requested and scheduled but if you have something you would like done to your Porsche, e-mail Dan Hinkebein dhink@sbcglobal.net and let him know what you’re thinking about.
So, all enthusiasts, shade tree mechanics, and Porsche Pushers, join us at 8:00 AM for our annual Tech Session. No matter if you enjoy working on your car, watching others work on theirs, or just enjoy the company of your fellow Porschephiles, come on out.
There will be different projects going on all day so feel free to come by anytime but please RSVP by Wednesday, March 20th, if you plan to attend so that we may properly prepare for refreshments, donuts, and lunch.
