A business doesn’t have to be listed with BBB for a customer to file a complaint against it. One can file a dispute no matter what happens. Our approach on running a business is different. At Clear Auto Bra, we do not need anyone to tell us to take care of our clients in case a problem arises. If we do have a customer who has a concern, we will take care of it no matter what. Therefore, we do not have dissatisfied clients.
I got several calls from BBB to become an accredited business. That costs money though. They charge several hundred dollars every year for them to pet you back. Why would anyone PAY for someone to compliment them.
I also do not see value in the BBB service for the customer. Years ago, when I had a problem and filed a complaint, they did nothing to help resolve the issue except tell the business to take care of me, which the business did not. But why would the business do anything when BBB asks if I have already asked them. They just did not care.
The way we earn clients is mainly through word of mouth, and good reputation. Even if a potential customer did not patronize us or doesn’t know anyone who did, they can still look at our reviews on Yelp or Google. That is all without paying anyone for it.
